History
Englewood is a kindergarten through fifth-grade school with an enrollment that averages around 370 students. Our nickname is the Eagles.
Child care services are available before and after school.
Englewood was built in 1910, and was named for the Englewood District. The district may have gotten its name from the area in Los Angeles of the same name, but with a different spelling, Inglewood. Such changes in spelling are not unheard of, for instance Milwaukie, Oregon and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
